East Bay Deli

The first East Bay Deli opened on September 11, 2001, a terrible day for America and a hard day to open a new business.  But nonetheless, this locally owned, small business continued on and in a few short years, became a popular place to eat for locals and tourists alike.  East Bay Deli is a New York Style deli but with a distinctive southern flair. The sandwiches, wraps, and entree salads are made-to-order, as well as a variety of hotdogs and giant potatoes. They also have a fresh salad bar with a myriad of tasty items to choose from and their dessert case is full of giant cakes and cheesecake shipped directly from Carnegie Deli in New York City.  East Bay Deli has expanded over the years, opening up new locations in Mount Pleasant ,West Ashley and two in North Charleston.  The food is fresh, deli-cious…and affordable!  East Bay Deli has been voted The Best Deli in Charleston for 8 years and is working hard to continue to keep that tradition going strong.

Jim 'N Nick's

At Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q we believe the trick to serving up great bar-b-q is to avoid the tricks altogether. No freezers. No short-cuts. Just slow-smoked Southern goodness, the way it ought to be done. Our bar-B-Q is slow-smoked for upto 14 hours over low heat hickory coals to coax out that original smoky flavor. And everything is made from scratch. Yes, everything. From our hand-pattied, fresh-ground burgers to the croutons that top our salads, even the pie crusts are flour and rolling pin fresh, because we know that delicious is in the details. And at Jim ‘N Nick’s the Southern goodness is always served with genuine and gracious hospitality, built on a sincere appreciation for our guests and our community. Join us for dine-In, drive-thru, take-home, private dining or let our catering team bring the goodness to you.

Maverick Southern Kitchens

Maverick Southern Kitchens is a company devoted to the pleasure and satisfaction you enjoy through a truly exceptional dining experience. Based in the heart of the Lowcountry of Charleston, South Carolina, we own and operate a collection of unique restaurants, as well as a combination kitchen shop and cooking studio where amateur chefs find the finest culinary tools while learning the secrets of using them well.

Our company's principal is Richard Elliott, a culinary innovator who came to the dining scene from successful careers as a journalist, lawyer and division president of a major manufacturer.

In all we do, the Maverick approach to cuisine is pure Charleston, with a twist. We start with fresh, local foods, preparing them in ways that have been refined by generations of immigrants from virtually every ethnic background. Then we add the subtle touch that makes each dish uniquely Maverick. Whether you're joining us to dine, shop or hone your cooking skills, we hope you enjoy your culinary experience, again and again.
