Art LaMay
The SEWE Featured Artist in 1986, LaMay has strong ties with the Expo. "For as long as I can remember, I have always had a special fascination with nature" says Art LaMay. "To know that I have captured the subject of the scene as it really is in its natural setting is true encouragement. To do a portrait type picture, to bring out their comical or even human characteristics as we often see them is true enjoyment." Art takes full advantage of the wildlife and its' habitats by observing and photographing in his backyard in Palm Coast, Florida. During the past 38 years, Art has designed artwork for various organizations such as Anheuser-Bush, Ducks Unlimited, National Rifle Association, Friends of the NRA, National Wild Turkey Fed., National Wildlife and the Audubon Society. He has designed stamps, cards, medallions & posters for all major shows and charitable organizations. Over the years, LaMay has accrued accolades, awards and honors for his fine art.
