Millie Gosch
"Painting was always a part of me," says Millie Gosch, who has painted since she was a child. She pursued her passion in art studies at Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. Later, she returned to her native Georgia and settled in the Atlanta area. After a successful career in the decorative arts, Ms. Gosch returned to her first love of fine arts.
A native of Newnan, GA, she finds the lowlands and rural fields in the area and the marshes and waters of coastal Georgia inspirations for her landscape paintings. She is active in bringing well-known plein air painters to the Southeast to teach workshops. Ms. Gosch has won several awards, most recently as a finalist in the prestigious RayMar Second Annual Fine Art Competition with her oil painting "Sunrise in Summer." She has been accepted in exhibitions throughout Georgia and in the Southeast. Millie has been named one of the top artists at Frameworks Gallery in Atlanta as featured in Art Collector Magazine. Her work hangs in numerous private collections and she is represented by several galleries.
