I was born in Charleston and raised 20 miles north of Charleston along the beautiful and peaceful Intracoastal Waterway in Awendaw. I am very proud to say that I graduated magna cum laude from the College of Charleston. As I was homeschooled through high school, I had plenty of time to explore my personal interests which included year round swimming, drawing, piano, math, and science. From these roots, I developed a deeper interest in wildlife, the human body, and music. I studied piano my first year of college, but quickly learned that I much preferred the study of art. I discoverd my love for ink in my second year of drawing classes at the college. I love to capture the souls of living creatures in as pure and simple a style as possible. My sincere hope is that you enjoy my art and that my art will in some way benefit animals of all species. Although I am currently absorbed in the study of dogs, I plan to make time in the future to study the human body and large cats.
