Al Dornisch

Al is a self-taught painter and naturalist having spent the past 68 years developing his art and studying the world’s wild creatures and the out-of-doors. His interests have taken him all over the world to study and photograph diverse places from the polar-regions of Canada to the savannas and forests of Africa. Al’s painting are highly detailed wildlife images and have been accepted in exhibits throughout the US and Canada. Dorinsch’s talents span beyond painting as he is also the author and illustrator of two children’s books, North American Baby Animals and African Baby Animals, a product  and material developer for Powder Metallurgy and a teacher for the Penn State Continuing Education Program.
