Adele Earnshaw
A native New Zealander, Earnshaw credits her birthplace as the major influence on her work and choice of subject matter. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Natural History Museum in New York and toured Japan and Sweden with Birds in Art exhibitions. Earnshaw is a member of the Society of Animal Artists and was selected by the New Zealand Government to design the first three stamps for the Game Bird Habitat Stamp Program. She also participated in the first Eco-art conference and exhibition in Taiwan where her work was exhibited at the National Museum of History in Taipei. Additionally, she has written Painting the Things You Love in Watercolor, which was featured on the PBS series “The Artist’s Workshop”, and teaches two workshops a year in the U.S. and Europe.
