David Petlowany
Four years of naval aviation in the Western Pacific gave David the opportunity to experience stone sculpture in six different countries. His first juried show was in 1975 and his works now range from six inches to eight feet. He works in marble and limestone and sees his approach to stone sculpture as a minimalist one. David says he is, "self-taught and as he enters into his thirty-fourth year of education, [he] choose[s] not to graduate."
