Love a Swamp: Wading and Wandering Through the Lowcountry Marsh: Join Dr. Jim Tuten, Associate Professor of History, Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA, for a look at the evolution of two beloved Lowcountry pastimes: hunting and fishing. Dr. Tuten, a Lowcountry native and expert on the defunct South Carolina rice industry, will examine the unique natural landscape of our region and how it shaped and was shaped by sportsmen over the past one hundred and fifty years.
