About Patricia A.

Patricia Ann Griffin was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1967 and graduated from Moore College of Art and Design, 1989. Griffin’s portraits of animals are a contemporary manifestation of humanity’s earliest muse. She utilizes subject matter as a testing ground fro concepts of color, value, and structure. Animals are an endless opportunity for reflection.

Griffin's work has brought her international recognition and shown in 12 museums. Her award winning images have been included in 15 solo exhibitions, over 160 group exhibitions and can be found in collections from Dallas to Dubai. Griffin has spent the past 28 years painting, teaching and traveling. 10% of the proceeds from the sale of her work go to conservation and preservation. Her studio, garden center, historic guest house and homestead are located in the Pocono Mountains.
