SEWE counts it a great privilege to showcase an expansive collection of wildlife art from premier painters and sculptors in the genre. While the pinnacle of our year occurs in February when artists and collectors gather in Charleston, we represent artists and source new work year-round. We look forward to celebrating these new works with you throughout the year, and hope they bring you the same inspiration as they do us.  Stay tuned as new works will be released bi-monthly. FRESH OFF THE EASEL WITH ELEANOR PARKER

ON FIRE
Oil on Linen, 22 x 28, $2,800

“I was raised in the Lowcountry, spending countless hours in the creeks and marshes. As a painter, I have learned to observe the ever changing landscape and strive to tell the story through my work.”
– Eleanor Parker

Eleanor Royall Parker lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina where she grew up on the waters of the Lowcountry. She and her husband Russ raised their family on Shem Creek. Eleanor has painted for many years, but in the last three years has taken a more serious interest in perfecting her craft. She is most interested in the sky and its varied light effects on the waters and marshlands that she is so familiar with. Eleanor has been lucky enough to study under many notable artists with amazing skills in the use of light, and this study has enhanced her ability to capture that light in her oil paintings.
