Rebekah began her art career at the age of 15 when she won the 2006 Federal Junior Duck Stamp contest. She has since been involved in various conservation art competitions and art shows across the country, bringing light to earth’s wild treasures through her paintings. In 2016 she was a featured artist in the film "The Million Dollar Duck," a feature-length documentary about the artists behind the Federal Duck Stamp paintings. Rebekah has spent many hours in the field from Alaska to Africa photographing each subject of her work, which is a key part of knowing how to convey their character. As her style and technique continues to grow and evolve, she also continues to set her sights on more goals surrounding wildlife, art and conservation. Rebekah currently resides in Deepwater, Missouri with husband Olen and works part-time for USPS as a substitute rural mail carrier. In addition to painting wild animals she enjoys traveling, hunting, playing violin and, with her recently acquired pilot license, flying airplanes.
