Most that have seen the classic sporting scenes of Brett Smith have been there themselves. 25 years ago he turned to easel painting, chronicling his outdoor experiences in sporting art and extracting the essence of the sport and rendering it on canvas or paper. His work shows up on the covers and pages of Grays Sporting Journal, Sporting Classics, and a large group of small, specific, hunting and fishing publications. Over the years, Smith has used his art to help raise millions of dollars for organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, CCA, The Atlantic Salmon Federation, DU Canada, the NRA and many others.
