Marion Square plays home to our conservation partners and exhibitors as well as cooking demos and birds of prey, disc dog demos and marine mammal educational shows all weekend long.

Attractions & Demonstrations

– Fresh on the Menu chef demonstrations on the Certified South Carolina Kitchen Stage. Presented by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture and hosted by the Lee Bros., watch more than a dozen of South Carolina’s greatest chefs, farmers, and home cooks demonstrate how to prepare some of their favorite recipes with locally grown and produced ingredients. Sample products from the producers, processors and vendors that make up the Certified South Carolina program. Times vary throughout the weekend.

– The Center for Birds of Prey will be conducting free flight demonstrations in the arena at Marion Square. See amazing flight demonstrations up-close by a variety of raptors including falcons, eagles, owls and hawks and learn about the important role they play in our eco-system.

– The Purina® Pro Plan Flying Disc Dog Demos showcase some of the world’s most athletic canines. Don’t miss the Purina® Pro Plan Performance Team as they dazzle the crowd with incredible flying disc routines!

– Marion Square also features the Conservation Village, live educational performances, food from area eateries and live music, and many children’s activities.

Parking

A SEWE shuttle stops are located in two locations on the perimeter of the park. We advise attendees to park or rideshare downtown and navigate venues by walking, biking, ridesharing or hopping on the complimentary SEWE shuttle. Please note that dogs are not permitted aboard the SEWE shuttle.

Tickets

Marion Square features our conservation partners, including the Center for Birds of Prey, Department of Agriculture’s chef demonstrations and more than 30 nonprofit partners. As part of SEWE’s commitment to community engagement and nonprofit promotion, tickets are not required to experience the venue.
