Live Presentations at SEWE 2022

SEWE 2022 offers various live presentations throughout the weekend. No matter your interest…all presentations are free with your SEWE general admission ticket. We suggest purchasing a 3-day ticket to take full advantage of the offerings. Find out where you can purchase tickets to SEWE 2022 HERE.

Quick Draw / Speed Sculpt and Live Auction: A unique opportunity to watch the talented SEWE artists at work. Participating artists will have just one hour to create a piece from start to finish. The finished products will then be on display before the live auction following. Drawing/Sculpting, Friday, Feb. 18 at 3 pm | Live Auction to follow | Fine Art Gallery & Grand Hall at Charleston Place Hotel

Live Animal shows with Jeff Corwin: Television personality, author, and conservationist, Jeff Corwin joins us once again to entertain and delight SEWE attendees with live animals at the Gaillard Center. Friday, Feb. 18 at 2 pm | Saturday, Feb. 19 at 12:30 and 3:30 pm | Gaillard Center

Live Animal Shows with Busch Wildlife Sanctuary: Busch Wildlife Sanctuary will introduce the wonders of the natural ecosystems and give SEWE attendees an up-close look at alligators, bobcats, foxes, birds of prey, snakes and much more. Friday, Feb. 14 at 11 am | Sunday, Feb. 15 at 11 am | Gaillard Center

NEW Dog Demos with Wildrose Kennels presented by Purina Pro Plan: Mike Stewart with Wildrose Kennels presents their unique, balanced training techniques for upland and waterfowl gundogs as well as adventure companions. Enjoy personal interactions with the Labradors, the trainers, and the ProPlan team throughout the day, all on hand to answer questions and provide tips. See schedule for times. Two Tank DockDogs® Competitions: Once again, SEWE will host the only two tank DockDogs® event east of the Mississippi. Dogs of all kinds and skill levels will compete in various water jumping competitions. “Waves” of competition will be held throughout the day all weekend with finals beginning at 3:30 pm on Sunday. Friday, Feb. 18 & Saturday, Feb. 19 at 10 am – 5:30 pm | Sunday, Feb. 20 at 10 am – 4 pm | Brittlebank Park

Retriever Demonstrations: Pathway to a Finished Gun Dog. Dogs of various breeds and ages put on demonstrations of retrieving skills. Friday, Feb. 18 & Saturday, Feb. 19 at 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm | Sunday, Feb. 20 at 12:30 am and 3:30 pm | Brittlebank Park

Center for Birds of Prey Demonstrations: Presented by BP America, see incredible flight demos while learning about the important role raptors, such as falcons, eagles and hawks, play in our ecosystem. Friday, Feb. 18 at 11 am and 3 pm | Saturday, Feb. 19 at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm | Sunday, Feb. 20 at 1 pm | Marion Square

Fresh on the Menu | Certified South Carolina: Hosted by the Lee Bros., watch more than a dozen of South Carolina’s greatest chefs and farmers demonstrate how to prepare some of their favorite recipes with locally grown and produced ingredients. Sample products from the producers, processors and vendors that make up the Certified SC program.
