The Southeastern Wildlife Exposition offers events and exhibits for every age and interest. Whether the kids are clamoring for the petting zoo, you’re craving SEWE oysters, or ready to browse some of the country’s finest wildlife and nature art, the weekend has something for everyone. Plus, kids ten and under are free.

One of the most educational and entertaining shows during SEWE, see amazing flight demos up-close by a variety of raptors including falcons, eagles, owls and hawks and learn about the important role they play in our eco-system.

Fly fishing casting lessons with Orvis on the front lawn at the Gaillard Center. Try your hand at angling or improve upon your skills with the fly fishing professionals on-site.

Sheep and Duck Herding Demos
Watch collies artfully muster sheep and ducks through various obstacles with only a few verbal commands.

The Orianne Society: Reptile Ecology and Conservation
Reptiles and amphibians are an integral part of our ecosystem. Learn why and how The Orianne Society promotes the conservation of these creatures and game species (like quail, turkey and deer) in this informative presentation with the Eastern Indigo Snake, Gopher Tortoise, Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake and more.

Training Retrievers with Orvis and Mossy Pond Retrievers
Witness gundogs work their magic as Brad Arington, an Orvis-endorsed Hunting dog trainer from Mossy Pond Retrievers in South Georgia, presents retriever demonstrations.
