A Letter From SEWE

Dear loyal SEWE guest,

We hope this note finds you well. After two long years, we are elated to welcome you back in February for the annual Southeastern Wildlife Exposition.

As we prepare to celebrate our 40th year in 2022 and embark on a new chapter for our event, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible journey that brought us here. We are deeply humbled by the unwavering support SEWE has received over the past four decades and grateful for everyone who has shown up for our artists and exhibitors, year after year.

The initial idea for SEWE in 1983 was to foster an environment where people could come together to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle and connect through a shared passion for wildlife. From this, we have been able to showcase the world’s finest wildlife artists and exhibitors, host world-class performers and conservationists and provide an annual gathering space to celebrate everything there is to love about wildlife and nature.

Our attendees, partners, artists and exhibitors have propelled SEWE forward, helping to shape and mold our event into an experience that offers unforgettable moments for all. Each event has brought us closer to reaching the goals we set when SEWE was founded — to make positive contributions, through entertainment, to the genre of wildlife art, conservation, education and the local, regional and state economies.

SEWE weekend has become synonymous with Presidents’ Day weekend in the Lowcountry, and is a tradition we feel grateful that so many families share with us each year. It is our privilege to host you each February at our five venues in downtown Charleston.

SEWE 2022 will be a time for festivity, as we reunite with old friends and gather together again. We have planned a show worthy of the celebration, bringing back SEWE’s tried and true entertainment and new experiences for our guests.

While we continue to grow, evolve our vision and diversify our show to entertain our loyal patrons, one thing has not changed — we have and always will remain a celebration of wildlife art and the sporting lifestyle. Wild now. Wild forever.

We hope to see you in Charleston this February! Save the date – SEWE 2022 tickets go on sale Saturday, October 9.
